Today is the final Pink Shirt Friday for this year and the West Nipissing volunteer firefighters have had another very successful Pink Shirt Campaign fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the annual pink shirt group picture last night they revealed the grand total raised this year is $16000.00 which was donated to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation’s Equipment Fund. Hospital President and CEO Cynthia Desormiers said she continues to be overwhelmed and thankful for the community support and the volunteer firefighters’ generosity.
