Franco-Cite and its feeder schools’ “Une Canne Ca Depanne” (A Can To Lend A Hand) food drive for the West Nipissing Food Bank was another huge success this year. Wednesday night, students knocked on doors throughout the municipality for donations then on Friday they formed a human chain to load the donations into trailers for transport to the final destination on the shelves of the West Nipissing Food Bank. In total, 20253 lbs of food and $400 cash was collected this year.
