Although a bit hampered by rain last year, the forecast is looking just about perfect for this Saturday’s Lavigne Music Festival. Billed as an arts and music festival celebrating female performers of all cultural streams, the 2nd annual festival will provide a great mix of local up and coming performers with some of the top touring female performers in Canada including the entire Ladies in Waiting Collective and headliner Canadian country star Lisa Brokop. Things get started at 11am at the Lavigne Ball Field just off Highway 64 this Saturday. Details can be found on the festival’s Facebook page.
