With the long weekend comes the usual stat holiday closures on Monday.
That includes most retail outlets and government offices, like the municipal office in West Nipissing.
Officials say the Community and Recreation Centre is closed on Monday with annual maintenance starting Tuesday on the pool and fitness centre.
That’s resulting in a two-week shutdown.
Landfills in Sturgeon Falls and Field are both closed on Labour Day, as is the Sturgeon River House Museum.
