The Interim Long-Term Care Courtyard construction is just about complete at the West Nipissing General Hospital. After years of hard work, planning, volunteering and fundraising which included a $100000.00 donation from les Caisses Populaires de Nipissing Ouest, organizers were able to break ground earlier this Spring and on Thursday August 3rd they will have their official grand opening ceremony at 10 am at the courtyard itself. The courtyard will allow long term care residents to be able to enjoy a beautiful private courtyard area, get some fresh air, enjoy some gardening, and relax under shade canopies with family and friends.
