The host of CBC Kids’ Canada gave local students a firsthand look at how to participate in an Aboriginal round dance.

Sid Bobb was at Holy Cross Elementary School Tuesday for National Aboriginal Day.Principal Dan Seguin says it was a great opportunity for the students and staff.

He says they learned more about Aboriginal culture and marked June 21st as the summer solstice which is part of their school curriculum.

He says there were a couple of staff members who really worked hard and had the right contacts to put on this event.
