Keep the Sturgeon River House Museum in mind for this Sunday. That’s when the municipality once again holds its Fall Festival, an event that features carnival games, Halloween treats a bonfire and marshmallow roasting. Other events include free tractor rides, live music by young people from West Nipissing, crafts and face painting. The Fall Festival runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm. There’s no charge for adults or for kids two and under. However there’s a $7 fee for children over two years of age. The same weekend also sees the start of Pumpkin Patch Weekends at Leisure Farms which run until October 28th.
