Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario has announced Natalie Joncas-Raymond will be taking over as Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer, effective September 1.
Officials say Joncas-Raymond has over 28 years of experience in education, including 18 years as principal at various elementary, secondary, and adult education schools.
After joining the local board in 2021, she initially served as Superintendent of Education, then as Superintendent of Business.
“I am honoured to take on the role of Director of Education at CSPNE,” says Joncas-Raymond. “I am committed to strengthening initiatives that aim to offer every student and staff member an inclusive, innovative, and supportive school environment that fosters both success and well-being. Together, with our dedicated teams, we will continue to promote French-language public education across our diverse communities.”
Denis Labelle, board chair congratulates Joncas-Raymond on her appointment.

The School Board has full confidence in her ability to carry out this role with discernment and leadership.”
