The Alliance Centre is once again hosting a Sharps Buyback Campaign.
Throughout November, a $5.00 grocery gift card will be given in exchange for every 100 sharps returned for proper disposal.
Officials say it’s in honour of National Addictions Awareness Week, and in partnership with the Horizon Women’s Centre.
Syringes, glass pipes and diabetic supplies will also be accepted, and all items must be returned in puncture-proof containers.
