Four school boards in our area will be getting money to further protect students and staff.
The funding, provided through the federal Safe Return to Class Fund, will support schools to improve air quality and ventilation, support online learning, promote student mental health and hire additional staff.Â

Near North District School Board will receive $1,075,476
Nipissing Parry Sound Catholic District School Board – $401,906
Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord – $347,289
Conseil scolaire public du Nord Est – $411,073
With this new funding, schools will have been provided with more than $1.6 billion to better protect students, staff, and families.
