After being closed for five days, Highway 17 at Bissett Creek just west of Deep River has reopened.
Flooding last Monday damaged the shoulder and embankment on both sides of the highway forcing its closure.
Water is now passing through a new culvert under the highway.
This section of roadway has a gravel surface and the Ministry of Transportation will pave the gravel sometime in May.
