He started by driving a snowmobile without a helmet, but now a 31-year-old Sturgeon Falls man faces several charges after eluding police.
West Nipissing police spotted the man on Railway Street in Sturgeon Falls on Tuesday driving his sled without a helmet.
When police went to stop him, he sped away driving in a way police say was unsafe.
During the course of the high-speed incident, the snowmobile hit a vehicle resulting in some damage.
At one point the man jumped from his sled and ran away.
However, police managed to corner the individual and arrested him.
The man is looking at three Criminal Code offences.
They are dangerous driving, driving while suspended and flight from police.
The accused also faces several provincial offences.
