Monday’s four-vehicle collision on Algonquin Avenue has resulted in a charge of careless driving against one of the drivers.
North Bay police say the accused was southbound and crossed the centre line in the 600 block of Algonquin which resulted in the ensuring collisions.
Police say all four vehicles were extensively damaged and three of the drivers needed medical attention.
In addition to careless driving, the accused also faces a charge of driving while suspended.
Algonquin was closed for the morning rush hour to remove the vehicles and so police could complete their onsite investigation.
