West Nipissing police are investigating two separate cases where in one instance a business was damaged and in the second, a shop owner was the victim of shoplifting.
The shoplifting incident saw two people, a male and a female, try on some shoes and then leave the store wearing the new shoes and leaving their old ones behind.
Video security at the business caught the William Street incident.
The footage identifies both people and police will charge them once they are apprehended.
In the second investigation, about $600 in damage was caused to a business after someone threw marble-like objects at its windows.
The business is located on Front Street.
The shop was hit with the objects on two occasions.
The first time was January 30th and then again on February 11th.
