Sudbury police are trying to identify the driver of a Buick who died after the vehicle hit a rock cut.
The car crashed into the large rock on the Big Nickel Mine Road.
Police say the car was travelling at a very high rate of speed at the time of the collision.
The incident took place around 11:00pm Sunday.
Police say they are working with the Centre of Forensic Science to get a positive identification on the victim.
The driver was the only person in the car.
