Highway 17B at the Duchesnay Creek Bridge will be closed weekdays beginning January 8th.
The daily closure is so the Ministry of Transportation can inspect the structural integrity of the bridge as part of its replacement project.
The inspections will also help determine how much motor vehicle weight the bridge can support until it’s replaced.
The weekday closures continue into Friday and run from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
The MTO says the closures won’t affect access to and from Couchie Memorial Drive.
