Residents of West Nipissing have been contributing their recipes for the cookbook that it will sell at next year’s International Plowing Match. The cookbook is a tradition the host community puts together and it’s made up of local family recipes. However Cookbook committee member Fernande Beaudry says contributors don’t just have to be from West Nipissing. The committee would like to get recipes from First Nations and the Mennonite community. In addition it needs more recipes in English because the cookbook will be bilingual. The deadline to get your family recipes to the committee is February 25th. The International Plowing Match takes place in Verner next year in September.
