Much of the money to help displaced families from a devastating fire in Sturgeon Falls has been dispersed. In fact about $13,000 has gone out to the families. That’s out of about $16,500. Most of the funds have helped the affected people pay for rent for their new quarters. Nine out of 10 families have new units and the last one is on a waiting list. The July 14th fire also destroyed six businesses including Moose FM but enough of our equipment was salvaged and we continue to broadcast from another location.
