The North East Francophone public school board has announced the three students who will act as student trustees for the next school year. One of them is Nicholas Senecal who attends Northern Secondary School in Sturgeon Falls. The other two students are from North Bay and Timmins. Senecal has also been picked to sit on the education minister’s Student Advisory Council. And as the name suggests, the council advices the minister of education on student issues. Sixty high school students from across Ontario sit on the council.
