Teen sentenced in arson case

It’s two years for a 19-year-old North Bay teen after being found guilty on charges of vandalism and arson.  In the arson incidents, a church was set on fire as well as the home of the teen’s mother where his sister and a friend were staying at the time.  Everyone escaped the flames.

The judge who sentenced the teen, who was not identified, found the house fire chilling.  The young man also killed a duck then threw its decapitated body into the business of an ex-girlfriend.  During the trial, the court was told that the teen suffered from mental health and addictions issues.
