The second pedestrian hit by a vehicle in North Bay this week has died. The victim was a 74-year-old woman. The woman was crossing Algonquin at Greenwood near the medical building with an 80-year-old man when both were hit by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.
Both were taken to Sudbury hospital. The man died Thursday morning and the woman passed away in the afternoon. The investigation continues and police are asking witnesses to contact them. Police have not yet released the names of the victims.
