Elementary students undertake big clean-up

Catholic students with the Franco Nord board have been busy.  Along with their teachers and board staff, the students have been involved with community clean-up projects.  It was one way for how the board launched its new vision and mission.  Verner saw students from St Marguerite D’Youville do general clean-up.

And in Sturgeon Falls, Franco Cite students prepared the downtown flower pots, and refreshed the play area at Richelieu Park.  In all the board’s 2,000 students and 500 staff spent an hour each volunteering with clean-up work for a total of 2,500 hours of work.  To see the board’s new vision go online to www.franco-nord.ca
