An Englehart man has died after he hit a moose just north of North Bay. Dead is 63-year-old Leonard Lear. Investigators say Lear was northbound on Highway 11 about 9:30pm Sunday when he came over a hill and slammed into the moose standing on the roadway. Lear was the only person in the vehicle and he died at the scene.
