The West Nipissing Relay for Life is set for June 3rd. The entire event is centred around the Minnehaha Bay Amphitheater with the relay in the parking lot at the top of the site and the stage providing the setting for entertainment. This year’s cancer honourary survivor is Shirley Perrin. Incidentally one of the relay’s past survivors is eight-year-old Makenzy Lariviere. He’s back home after spending several months in Ottawa getting leukemia treatment and a stem cell transplant.
