Hedley is the Friday night act at Summer in the Park. John Strang, chair of Summer in the Park, says organizers tried to keep young people in mind when lining up this year’s concerts. And in a move to encourage more wristband sales, ticket prices are staying at $29.99 until the end of May. They were to go up to $35 today.
Now the $35 amount won’t kick in until June 1st. Saturday’s country acts feature Tim Hicks and North Bay’s own Cory Marquardt. And for people who enjoy classic rock, Led Zeppelin tribute artist Michael White and the White performs on Sunday. It all starts July 29th and continues into the long weekend.
