Hepatitis A confirmed in Sudbury service area says health unit

Hepatitis A has shown up in the coverage area of the Sudbury and District Health Unit.   At least 10 people across Ontario are known to have developed the infection after eating frozen berries from Costco.  However what the Sudbury health unit doesn’t know for sure is if the person afflicted with virus ate the same berries.

The Sudbury health unit is again telling people who think they ate the berries to call your local health unit for a vaccination shot.  The berries are sold under the name, Nature’s Touch Organic Berry Cherry Blend.
