Detour Gold has been charged in connection with the death of one of its employees working at a mine near Cochrane. Detour is charged with criminal negligence causing death. Fifty-two-year-old Denis Millette of Matheson died in June while repairing mining equipment. An autopsy shows cyanide was the cause of Millette’s death.
