The spring midway is showing up a little later than first scheduled in North Bay. It’s now coming from May 25th to the 29th instead of May 4th to 8th. Councillor Jeff Serran says having the midway in May actually helps Summer in the Park.
Serran says an agreement between the City and the World’s Greatest Show sees the business contribute some of the proceeds from the spring midway to Summer in the Park. Serran says last year the spring event resulted in an $8,000 contribution to Summer in the Park. The spring midway sets up shop at Lee Park.
