Gas has spiked in North Bay. Over the past 24 hours the price of fuel jumped 10 cents a litre and regular now goes for a $1.06. The increase comes just days following another jump in prices. Last week, the price of gas had fallen close to 85 cents a litre at some North Bay sites.
In Sturgeon Falls, fuel also went up although not as much. The average pump price in Sturgeon Falls is nearly 93 cents a litre. According to gasbuddy.com, the cheapest place to buy gas in the immediate area is Chester’s Gas Bar at Beaucage Road on Highway 17 where it goes for nearly 91 cents a litre.
