In Sault Ste. Marie a man who was arrested by police is now in a medically induced coma. Fifty-five-year-old Timmy Mitchell was arrested in his home on March 26th and on the 28th he was hospitalized for broken bones. Sault police say they can’t comment on the case because it’s now being investigated by the Special Investigations Unit.
Family members say there was a struggle during their father’s arrest. At this time it’s not clear if Mitchell’s medical condition is connected with his arrest. Mitchell’s family says their dad’s life is definitely in danger and add their father has a 50-50 chance of surviving.
