The Municipal Heritage Committee of North Bay says when it comes to the City’s most recognizable feature, it’s the Gateway arch. That’s one of the comments Peter Hanley, the chair of the committee made to city council while presenting his annual report.
Hanley says one of the projects the committee continues to work on is preserving historical stories they get from people so they’re not lost forever. And to acknowledge long-term service, the committee has created a certificate that recognizes businesses with 100 years of operations.
