Canadian Blood Services is hoping for good results today with a drive in Sturgeon Falls. The agency has collected less blood the last few times it’s held collections in West Nipissing and hopes to turn that around. The group is always in need of blood because patients of one kind or another need it. For example, it takes eight donors a week to supply a leukemia patient with blood. Today’s drive is at the West Nipissing Community and Recreation Complex and runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
