A former Timmins man who now lives in Burnaby, B-C is charged with second degree murder. Twenty-nine-year-old Ryan Armstrong was charged after a woman’s burnt body was found on a remote road outside Vancouver. The victim was a 28-year-old from Illinois.
Police say there was a relationship between both Armstrong and the woman but aren’t saying exactly what type. Police also haven’t said what the possible motive was for the crime. In addition to murder, Armstrong is also charged with indignity to a human body.
