It’s tremendous news for West Nipissing. The municipality has been picked to host the 2019 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo. The municipality was bidding to host the 2020 event, but the Ontario Plowmen’s Association liked its bid so much they asked the municipality to accept the 2019 event. The development occurred over the weekend in Guelph where a West Nipissing delegation presented its bid.
