Governor General David Johnston is in North Bay today for a full day of activities. He arrives at 22 Wing this morning, then tours the site before heading off to Nipissing University to talk about First Nation education and reconciliation. And while the GG is at the university, his wife Sharon will visit the North Bay Regional Health Centre and One Kids Place.
Early this afternoon their Excellencies meet with school children at Heritage Public School. Following that, David Johnston has a meeting with regional mayors and First Nation Chiefs. The day ends with a dinner in the evening hosted by City Hall for the Johnstons.
