Crime stats in for Easter weekend

North Bay police were kept busy over the Easter weekend.  The department got nearly 300 calls and six of those calls resulted in charges against several people.  One person was charged for setting off a false fire alarm and three other people face uttering threat offenses.  In Almaguin,  OPP charged 99 people for various offenses including speeding, not wearing a seatbelt and distracted driving.  On the plus side, officers in Almaguin did not charge a single person for impaired under its R.I.D.E. program.
