Students from the six elementary schools in West Nipissing graduate from the DARE program later in the week. West Nipissing police constable Denis Marleau says DARE teaches young students how to say no to drugs. Marleau says the local program has been around for a few years and has a lot of support. In total, 132 students in Grade 5 will graduate from the anti-drug program.
