Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli doesn’t normally respond to federal issues, especially the federal budget. But the Tory finance critic says the federal Liberals are going to borrow more than $100 billion over the next five years to boost spending. He says people should be worried about this because we can’t keep spending on programs with money we don’t have.
Fedeli says the Auditor General has repeatedly said ongoing deficits will eventually eliminate programs that we now rely on. Fedeli also notes that the Trudeau Liberals have not said how they will go from a deficit budget to a balanced budget after 2021.
