Vic Fedeli, the MPP for Nipissing, says he wasn’t prepared for how Liberal MPP’s reacted to him raising the issue of drug costs affecting seniors. Fedeli told MPPs that the Ontario budget will double drug costs for 92 percent of seniors. He also read a letter from Zone 4 of the Royal Canadian Legion asking the province to reverse the rising price of drugs.
But Fedeli says Liberal MPP’s mocked and heckled him and he adds they’ve sunk to a new low. Fedeli says he was hoping for more decorum on a sensitive issue but says sadly this didn’t happen. Later, Fedeli berated the Liberal MPP’s for their behaviour.
