Ontario investing $9.5-million in Fire Response Facility in North Bay

The province is investing $9.5-million to build a new state-of-the-art forest fire response facility in North Bay.

The new facility will include a fire management headquarters facility at the North Bay airport and dedicated parking for water bombers, helicopters, and bird-dog planes.

Construction will begin April, and approximately 120 construction jobs will be created in the community.
