Combat Stigma night at Memorial Gardens a big success

It was a big win for both the Battalion and the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation during last night’s game.

Hundreds of frisbees were tossed onto the ice during second intermission, all in support of combating the stigma of mental health. Hospital Foundation CEO Tammy Morrison says proceeds from the Frisbee purchases will go directly to the hospital’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit.

The Battalion snapped their three game losing streak last night with a 5-2 to win over the Wolves. That means the Troops officially have home ice advantage in the playoffs.
