The Nipissing District Human Rights Hall of Fame is recognizing a North Bay man for his dedication to enriching northern communities through diversity.
Don Curry has been chosen for this year’s inductee to the hall of fame. Most of us know Curry for his work with the North Bay and District Multicultural Centre, where he recently retired as executive director. Curry was most recently involved with bringing a family of Syrian refugees to the North Bay community.
He will receive his award at the 28th annual evening of applause on March 23rd, at West Ferris Secondary School.
