A community open house is now scheduled for people to weigh in on the proposed changes to a 1.2 acre portion of John Kennedy Memorial Park.
The Near North District School Board and the city are looking into changing that portion of the park into play and recreation area for students. An elementary school is currently being built at the former Pinewood School site, and will be next to the land.
The open house happens on March 23rd, beginning at 6:30pm, at Bethel Gospel Chapel in North Bay.
