A violent domestic dispute has resulted in assault and confinement charges against a North Bay man. The man blocked his girlfriend from leaving their apartment on the weekend and also injured their baby by throwing it on a bed. The injuries to the infant were minor and afterward the woman left with her baby.
Police have charged the man with two counts of forcible confinement because there was an earlier incident last November when he wouldn’t let his girlfriend leave. The 21-year-old is also charged with three counts of assault.
