Nearly $200,000 is headed to the Arts Council of West Nipissing. The money is from FedNor and the council will use it to hire an artistic director who will develop and implement a cultural strategy for the municipality. The federal agency will pay $198,000 for the initiative over the next two years. Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre made the announcement.
