There’s no let up from the Opposition on how the Wynne Liberals are handling the Ring of Fire. Earlier in the week, Tory leader Patrick Brown blasted the Premier for not spending any money at the site. Now the NDP are demanding to know when the Liberals will help to start developing the chromite discovery.
Mike Mantha, of Algoma Manitoulin, says the Liberals keep calling the Ring of Fire a-once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. But Mantha is asking whose lifetime. Mantha says the north wants to see the site developed because it means high-paying and steady jobs.
