School buses have been cancelled for an area south of North Bay because of snow and poor visibility. There are no buses this morning for the area south of Highway 522. The affected communities are South River, Sundridge, Burk’s Falls and Magnetawan. Also affected are Katrine, Emsdale, Kearney, Sprucedale and Novar. In addition to south of North Bay, school buses are also cancelled for the Mattawa area. Although there are no buses in all these areas, schools are open.
