A drinking advisory has been issued in Verner but it only affects a certain segment of the population. The water is showing levels of sodium greater than 20 milligrams a litre. The North Bay – Parry Sound District Health Unit says this could be unsafe for people on salt-restricted diets. The health unit is suggesting people in this cluster group use an alternate source of water.
