A North Bay man will be sentenced May 19th following a guilty verdict where two people on a motorcycle were killed in a collision in Markstay-Warren. The victims were from Val Caron and on Highway 17 when they were hit head on by a vehicle that crossed into their lane.
The man and his girlfriend died at the scene. Fifty-nine-year-old John Hemmingway pleaded guilty to careless driving causing death. The fatal crash took place in June 2014.
