The new elementary school going up at the former Pinewood site in North Bay might get a 1.2 acre play space.
The city and the Near North District School Board are looking into turning parkland next to the school into a recreation area for students. The large wooded area stretches from the school to Jane Street.
They will be looking for feedback from the public in coming months on the potential project.
